Stewart Livery Barn

Nestled in Calgary’s historic Inglewood neighbourhood, the Stewart Livery Barn has been thoughtfully transformed into a vibrant residential space through adaptive reuse. The project includes the restoration and conversion of the original barn, alongside the addition of a five-unit rowhouse and duplex. From the preservation of the original structure to the carefully integrated additions, every element was designed to honour the barn’s heritage. Unique structural framing, reinforcement, and custom openings celebrate the building’s history, while its location just steps from 9th Avenue connects residents to Inglewood’s shops, restaurants, breweries, and vibrant community.
