With over two decades of experience in the construction industry, Doug has truly seen it all! He’s tackled various roles, wearing many hats—from managing a general contracting firm to being the general manager of a mechanical contracting company, and now he’s proud to be a partner at this multidisciplinary firm. Doug is all about using his diverse background to create successful outcomes for everyone involved in his projects.

His solid foundation in mechanical engineering from the University of Alberta, paired with postgraduate studies in project management and operational efficiency, gives him the skills to excel in many areas, from commercial to residential projects and everything in between. The fun and challenge of juggling stakeholder needs, budgets, timelines, and sustainability, while always approaching each project with a practical mindset is what makes his work worthwhile.

Keeping a balance is important – literally and metaphorically. Doug’s time outside of work is an effort to do both; whether it’s carving down the slopes with his family or knee deep in a stream with a fishing rod enjoying the great outdoors.
